We are all the result of someone's legacy. Somewhere behind each of us is a hand that reached back and pulled us forward. Helping Hand was painted for that truth.
It grew out of the work I do with my art for philanthropy, using each piece to create real impact. But it became larger than any single cause. It became a picture of what it means to reach back and lift someone else.
That hand is not always literal. Sometimes it is a door you open, a gift you share, a resource you extend, a moment you make. Whatever form it takes, the act connects us. When you reach back to lift another, you are also extending your own legacy forward.
Hands return again and again across my work. They are how we hold, how we give, how we build, and how we pass things on. This piece belongs to that language.
For the person who sees themselves here, Helping Hand is more than art on a wall. It is a daily reminder of who lifted you, of what matters, and of the ones you are now called to lift. A legacy received, and a legacy passed on.
